The Loft Campus of Applied Science
Participant & Policy Standards
Clear expectations support honest learning, respectful participation, and responsible use of Campus resources. These standards apply to Campus courses, educational activities, accounts, tools, devices, and completion records.
Participant Responsibilities
Ten Standards for Campus Participation.
Engage with the learning, follow published requirements, and treat other people and their work with care.
-
Provide Accurate Information
Keep registration and contact details accurate. Do not impersonate another person or falsify attendance, practical hours, assignments, identity information, or completion records.
-
Maintain Academic Integrity
Submit work that represents your own learning. Acknowledge sources and follow course rules for collaboration, AI tools, and outside assistance. Cheating, plagiarism, and unauthorized assistance are prohibited.
-
Participate and Follow the Schedule
Complete required lessons, assignments, activities, and assessments within the published schedule. Communicate early if a deadline, technical issue, or participation requirement presents a difficulty.
-
Respect Other People
Communicate respectfully with participants, staff, instructors, contributors, and partners. Threats, harassment, exploitation, coercion, abuse, unlawful discrimination, and intentional disruption are prohibited. Respectful discussion and disagreement are welcome.
-
Use Technology Responsibly
Use Campus email, software, learning systems, and managed devices lawfully and within their authorized purposes. Do not conduct fraud, phishing, spam, malware distribution, unauthorized access, or attempts to bypass security controls.
-
Protect Accounts and Privacy
Keep account credentials secure and report suspected compromise. Do not share access or obtain another person’s private records without authority. Follow privacy and permission requirements when recording, sharing, or submitting information about others.
-
Respect Course Materials
Follow copyright and license terms. Do not sell, redistribute, or publicly post protected materials or assessments except where authorized or permitted by law. You may keep and share your authentic certificate and original work, subject to privacy and the rights of others.
-
Represent Credentials Accurately
Use the course title and certificate details as issued. Do not alter records or present Campus coursework as a degree, college credit, professional license, or regulated professional certification. Request corrections through the Campus.
-
Follow Practical and Safety Requirements
Follow published instructions for practical hours, projects, supervised work, and off-site activities. Obtain required permissions and follow lawful site rules. Contact the Campus before proceeding with an activity you cannot safely or lawfully complete.
-
Communicate and Seek Support
Ask questions when expectations are unclear. Report concerns honestly, respond to reasonable course-related requests, and contact the Campus about access needs, corrections, or a review of an action affecting you.
Course Standards
Know the Requirements Before You Enroll.
Review the Published Course Information
Check eligibility, prerequisites, schedule, workload, assessment arrangements, practical hours, and additional costs. Online instruction may include independent activities at a gym or in the community, live sessions, in-person attendance, or supervised work.
Meet the Completion Standard
Complete the required coursework, applied activities, and participation requirements. Earn at least 70% on the proctored final assessment and satisfy any additional published criteria to earn a Certificate of Completion.
Permitted support remains available. Approved accommodations, assistive technology, and course-authorized collaboration or AI assistance are allowed. Ask for clarification before using assistance on assessed work if the rules are unclear.
If you do not pass the final: Re-enroll and pay the course fee again. The Campus provides targeted remediation and a retest within a two-week remediation period, as explained in the course instructions.
Certificate and Record Integrity
Protect Accurate Records of Earned Completion.
The Campus may review a certificate or completion record when evidence suggests an issuing error, falsification, or material academic misconduct affecting whether it was legitimately earned. Records may be corrected or superseded; a certificate may be invalidated if issued in error or not legitimately earned, through the Campus review process.
Legitimately earned completion remains separate from current account or resource access. An account restriction, withdrawal, or unrelated later conduct does not automatically cancel an earned certificate. Record history and retention follow the Privacy Policy and applicable requirements.
Share your authentic certificate accurately. Ask the Campus to correct an error rather than editing the document yourself.
Policy Administration
Respond to Concerns Fairly and Proportionately.
The Campus considers the available information, seriousness, circumstances, and effect of an issue before deciding its response.
Depending on the issue, action may include a warning, required correction, assessment review, resource restriction, course removal, or suspension of participation. Any action should be reasonably related to the identified concern.
- Warning
- Required Correction
- Assessment Review
- Access Restriction
- Course Removal
- Participation Suspension
The Campus will ordinarily explain the concern and provide an opportunity to respond or request review. An active safety, security, or fraud risk may require immediate temporary action, followed by notice and review as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to lawful restrictions.
Conduct or access action does not automatically remove refund rights or other protections provided by applicable purchase terms or law. Certificate decisions follow the separate integrity standards above.
Request a Review or Report a Concern
Email admin@lofttn.com with the course or account involved, the decision or concern, and the relevant information you want considered. The Campus will review the information and communicate the outcome and any corrective steps.
Reports are shared only as reasonably needed for review, response, or legal obligations. Retaliation against someone for raising a concern in good faith is prohibited.
